On the Earth we all revolve around the sun
Ever falling toward the fire, sideways motion we acquired
Has us perched up on the edge for the long run

If light can stretch and bend, you bet your ass that I commend
All the folks who work to figure all this out

Laying down what the big and small are all about

Simultaneity is relative, things just don’t happen all at once
Looking out beyond the stars, you won’t see them as they are
But as they once were so long ago


Energy can’t be destroyed, just scattered through the void
Expanding into space forever more
Unimpeded light will travel until time and space unravel
Cause entropy is knocking at your door

The faster that you move through space, relative to earth in place
The slower that you’ll age to folks at home
100 years will fly by, for you it’s June on to July
